Welcome to Newton Cricket Club which was founded in 1861. We were members of the West Tyne League from 1904 to 2024 and have recently joined the Northumberland & Tyneside Cricket League. We play our home matches within the picturesque grounds of Mowden Hall School on the outskirts of the village of Newton. If you are interested in playing please do not be put off by the fact that you may not be available every weekend as many of our current members are in a similar situation so don’t hesitate to make yourself known to us through either email, telephone, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or the website . Supporters are welcome and there is normally plenty of tea and cake to go around at our home matches!
