Annual Awards

The 2026 Annual Sports Awards, sponsored by Egger (UK) Ltd, will be held at the Hexham Mart on Sunday 6th December 2026. Our awards have been playing a part in inspiring others for over 50 years.

Nominations for the 2026 awards are now open until midnight on Sunday 8th November, and will be made in the usual categories to recognise and celebrate sporting achievements by individuals, teams, clubs, coaches and volunteers in our communities. We will also invite applications for the Stan Calvert scholarship of £600, sponsored by NFU Insurance Hexham, to help talented young people progress in sport.

Sport Tynedale is very keen to celebrate success in school sport at the Annual Awards, and to visit schools to present special awards for outstanding school team achievements. Please email us on info@sport-tynedale.com to tell us about successful school teams over the last year.
