Tynedale RFC is a friendly, community rugby union club who reside at their magnificent 35 acre site at Tynedale Park, Corbridge. The Club is proud of its rich history and has been the home of rugby in the Tyne Valleys and surrounding areas since its foundation in 1876.
The club offers a wide range of rugby playing activities and regularly fields four senior male sides, one senior women’s side, male and female age group sides from ages 6 through to 18, a women’s touch rugby side and provides weekly mixed gender/age family touch rugby sessions.
The Club has around 160 senior adult players, around 350 mini/junior /youth players and around 50 RFU qualified coaches with fully trained medical/physiotherapy support staff.
The club’s 1stXV play in England’s National League 2 which is level 4 in the English rugby pyramid (the Premiership is level 1). There is a clear pathway for anyone attempting to represent the 1stXV (and beyond) but the club fully recognises that many do not harbour rugby ambitions other than to enjoy and socialise.
New players at all levels are always more than welcome.
